@marcusclarkson5520 Jack Ma tried to set up a parallel banking system outside of the state led one. He's lucky he only got a reprimand.

@marcusclarkson5520 So a good thing is when the banking system runs the government and gets a bailout for speculative derivative investments? More "liberated" for the banks, not so much for the people who get the bill...🤣

@marcusclarkson5520 I suggest you work on your own country's problems since China doesn't have an inflation issue and appears to be doing okay. Income is up, exports are up, property prices have stabilized, and all other metrics look pretty reasonable. I don't think China should take any advice from someone in a country that's screwed up as bad as you say.

@marcusclarkson5520 Safeguarding assets and extending credit is the function of the banking system. We've already seen what happens when the private sector has complete control; regulatory capture. China liberalized the peripherals of the capitalist system and left the remaining portion, otherwise know as the commanding heights, as a function of the state. Anyhow Türkiye has 10 state owned banks, so this shouldn't be an issue.
