@mudshovel289 No, it's called being hypocritical. The US doesn't what to loss its strategic foothold 180 km from the Chinese mainland, which has been a US objective since the 1950s. However at the same time they wanted to appease the Chinese to facilitate the Soviet-Sino split and so they agreed to the One China Principle. It's all documented, so trying to gaslight me is not going to work. US is not getting involved militarily with China, unless they want the 7th Fleet sitting at the bottom of the South China Sea.
