@mudshovel289 Except you forgot about the territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and the State of Hawaii plus the Freely Associated States including the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, and Palau. All these islands plus the economic zones surrounding them is still way bigger than any area the Chinese are claiming. Did you think I wouldn't list them when you posted your comment? 🤣

@mudshovel289 “We control essentially the northern half of the Pacific between Hawaii and Philippines,” US special envoy Joseph Yun told Congress in July, 2023. The US also extended their pacific seabed claim to over one million square kilometers. While "all" may be an a stretch the fact remains the US controls vast areas of the Pacific, which is an area way bigger than any territorial claims the Chinese may have...🤣

I hate to break your bubble, but that is the exact position the US Navy takes with regards to the Northern Pacific and vessels of other states. It's called “the right of strategic denial” by using selective enforcement...🤣
