Most if not all of the mechanical harvesting of cotton is done using John Deere combines made in America. John Deere knows the location of each and every machine since they need spare parts for maintenance and repairs.

@isiahsteele7418 The only farms that would use manual labor would be small farms, usually family run, because they can't afford the equipment. I highly doubt the state is transporting all these laborers to these small farms and collaborating with the owners in forcing them to pick cotton. It would be a logistics nightmare plus everyone involved would have to stay silent. That's not going to happen with Weibo, WeChat, and Douyin at your fingertips.
