  1. To maximize profits manufacturers will produce until marginal revenue equals marginal cost. There's no overcapacity because manufacturers would not produce additional units if marginal cost was greater than marginal revenue. Economics 101.

  3.  @mudshovel289  The Chinese model does not exist for SOEs to cannibalize private companies, which would be counterproductive and detrimental to the Chinese economy. In fact SOEs in China are required to turn a profit, otherwise the state forces them to exit the market. As usual you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about since my comment was about unit production costs and not overall profitability.
