@stresslessflex6389 GE, Ford, and Dell all source parts and even complete units from China. It's estimated that 90% of the world's electronics come from Shenzhen. It's pretty much guaranteed you have more products from China than any other country...🤣

@stresslessflex6389 Nope, especially with electronics. The majority of parts come from China. Mexico and Vietnam are only staging and assembly areas since they don't have the capacity to produce these items.

@stresslessflex6389 Reason China is the top supplier is because the scope, quality, and pricing of the components can't easily be duplicated. Trying to extricate China from the supply chain is like playing whack-a-mole since they will just extend them further back. Any way you slice it you're getting Chinese components. It all depends on which part of the production cycle, which of course the further back adds even more cost to the end product...🤣

@stresslessflex6389 "No i dont know that those parts are made in china" - Then how did you know the display on that laptop was made in Vietnam? Have to take the unit apart to find out that information since Dell uses several different suppliers...🤣

@stresslessflex6389 CPU and display can easily be removed and replaced with other components that are made in China or Taiwan. Not so much for the other items since the supply chains no longer exist and the cost to duplicate would be prohibitively expensive. How's that Chinese made microwave working out?🤣

@stresslessflex6389 Actually all appliances from Hamilton Beach are manufactured by sub-contractors in China since 2002. Check that with that AI you seem to like...🤣
