I would love to fly on a plane that is not '“designed by clowns, who in turn are supervised by monkeys", but unfortunately I live in the United States. I would take the train, but there's no high speed rail and at $4.50 a gallon for gas I'm definitely not driving.

@102TheMaster I see we're ignoring most of the global south, which incorporates two-thirds of the world's population. In the near future COMAC will at least be a minor player, like Bombardier. I don't have Nostradamus powers to see 20 years into the future and neither do you.

@102TheMaster Because everyone is knocking down doors for a Brazilian produced aircraft. China's domestic market will have more aircraft then Embraer sells both domestically and internationally, so anything sold outside of China for COMAC will be gravy.

@gaelsmith7044 That's what you call globalization. Most of the stuff you own is a combination of components produced by different countries. Your phone, television, electronics, appliances, and even the car you drive are produced in this way. So stop with your western superiority complex and fact the reality the Chinese can design and produce a world class product.

@weeshuggie228 You do know it was a Boeing 737 that was involved in the crash. Planes just don't fall out of the sky unless there's a major mechanical failure. I call BS on your conspiracy theory since the NTSB has been involved in the on-site investigation and China gave them the black boxes for analysis. Boeing on the other hand already lost their face, shirt, right and left arm. The only reason they're still around is the US props them up with lucrative government contracts.
