  1. Once Taiwan is stripped of their semiconductor tech the US will discard them in a war that destroys Taiwan's economy. US playbook never changes.

  2.  @AmskepticalTravelers-se8cr  Look how the US is using Ukraine, and they're a European nation. Taiwan would be discarded even faster. Remember, the US dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, not Germany. Nothing has changed with regards to American attitudes towards the east.

  3.  @AmskepticalTravelers-se8cr  "America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests” - Henry Kissinger Taiwan is a US interest, and when they cease to be a US interest they will be discarded. History is a harsh mistress, learn from it.
