@MASMIWA Since the Yen is weak China can purchase larger denominations. Once the Yen strengthens they can sell the bonds on the open market and take advantage of the difference in the exchange rate...😎

@chriswong9158 China routinely buys Japanese bonds. In 2022 China held 24.2 trillion Yen in government bonds, which was the 4th largest foreign holder by country.
