Problem is many products from China are still cost effective even with a 245% tariff. Companies are still going to order products from China when there are no good substitutes and just pass the costs to the end consumer...🤣

@Placid_Cat What company is going to tell their shareholders were going to take a massive hit to our profit margins? In any case most products are inelastic or have low elasticity, so a change in price does not affect quantity demand. Therefore the majority of the additional costs are just going to be passed to consumers.
