@charlescannon2469 That is not "fair." My property stays my property. If I don't live in the state that the property is in, I may not know someone has trespassed. If it is in my name, I paid for it, and I paid the taxes, the idea of someone else being able to take it is absolutely authoritarian and asinine.

@DawnOfTheDead991 What if they don't live in the state? The idea that a state would allow someone to "apply" (whatever that means) buy a house that they shouldn't have even been on and is owned by someone else who has been making the mortgage and tax payments is ridiculous and authoritarian. It is the owners business of why he has or hasn't been to the property in all that time.
