This should never happen to a child, but this guy's a grown man, he can handle it better.👍 What I mean is, a frequent harmless open palm swat whenever truly necessary when you're a child should suffice. But apparently this guy never had that as a child, so I suppose this employee was just combining all the ones he probably needed but didn't get growing up into one (whatever time of day this was.) Harsher, but like I said, he's old and grown enough to take it. It's kind of like when I got my very first iPad I was still learning as I went along, and I didn't yet understand the importance of updating your software, and I didn't do it for the first time until it was over three years old, and it took a long time to do because a whole bunch of updates were being installed at one time. Sort of the same thing here.
