Legally, it’s still attempted murder despite her intent, because, knowing her own physique, she used it as a weapon by sitting on the girl, plus she slammed her head repeatedly on metal, and even made her bleed, giving her a concussion. She could’ve killed her even if that’s not what she had in mind. Plus she wished death on her afterwards, I would’ve seen all that as enough to charge with attempted murder.

  3. The statement “Kids are bad nowadays” is overtly untrue anyway. Some kids are good and others are bad and this is true about every era. I think nowadays you just hear more about the “bad” ones because the “good” ones aren’t usually considered a very interesting news story. And if this behemoth happens to be 19, then she herself wasn’t a kid too long ago, in fact she’s around the same age as the average TikTok prankster, so even the stereotype of “today’s youth” won’t make her out the biggest paragon of virtue. In fact if one kid does this to another, like some 12 yo bully and her 9 yo brother did to Aubrey Corley’s 5 yo daughter on a school bus in 2018, that’s why you shouldn’t run down the current youth altogether, because the victim is part of it as much as the two bullies.

  6. It is a free country but if one has a record or is on probation the person’s freedom often has restrictions. For example a paroled sexual predator usually isn’t allowed within 100 feet of any place where children are, such as a school yard or a playground. But I understand her record didn’t involve pedophilia, however I don’t get why a record of violence doesn’t also come with the same thing, at least not without parole officer supervision.🤷‍♂️

If this had just been a single slap to the face I might be more interested in hearing the other side, but what happened here is something no child deserves and there’s no excuse for it, and therefore the way it started won’t change that, whereas it might if it was just a slap and nothing more.

  17. The majority of ones we hear about anyway. (Plus I think we’re all a little tempted to be that way at times.) Okay, maybe the girl’s tongue slipped, maybe her foot went into her mouth, we all make mistakes and choose the wrong words sometimes because we’re all human, and maybe the 19 yo took it the wrong way, but if that’s the case any parent in their right mind would agree she’s been punished more than enough, and of course learned a lesson about thinking before choosing your words. Not the easiest way, but not the hardest either considering she survived. Plus even if the 11 yo was stretching the truth the 19 yo could’ve been, too.

  20. That wasn’t the idea it gave me, in fact I never thought of it that way. Her daughter doesn’t have a daughter who was assaulted like herself and then told by the attacker I hope she dies. That would set any mother off. It’s not really a reflection of the child, it’s just a mother going into Mama Bear mode.

And besides the attacker is only 19, if anything that’s a very young adult, in this case very close to being another kid, like at the ages of 9 and 17. In fact many of those horrible TikTok pranksters are around her age, too, which is unparented and undisciplined behavior in itself, and who knows, maybe she’s a beginner who was going to “violate” a young child in God knows which way for clout and likes, there’s not much of a limit what they’ll do, so basically anyone who has a beef with “the youth of today” and can’t just keep things individual, the attacker was only 19, only beginning adulthood, same age as the average prankster, and there is no excuse for what she did, and maybe you need to watch more videos on this and get more details, like her criminal record, which she was on a kids’ playground in spite of, etc.

  36. Perhaps she knew she was being recorded and had to set the stage somehow. I heard she lives in the same neighborhood as her family, which gives me the feeling they might know each other, so there may be an outside motive. Therefore unprovoked but not random.

  37. And even otherwise, that story would also have two sides. Maybe this alleged “Ryan” wasn’t particularly innocent either. Maybe he was bullying another kid and the 11 yo stood up to him like Mary stood up to the bully on the bus in 2017’s Gifted. Perhaps she defended “Ryan” anyway because he was her “special dream boy.” Like I’ve suggested elsewhere she could have been there for predatory purposes. We can’t exactly rule it out with a grown a** man or woman with no kids hanging around on a playground full of them.🤷‍♂️
