  2. You mean Destany? That crossed my mind, too! I got my first full-time job when I was 18, after I’d just graduated high school. At 19, I never had any reason to hang out at a playground full of kids.

  3. Wait a minute, this video title has an error. It should say “Canton Woman” or “Canton 19 year old,” not Canton Mom. The Mom was the one who lunged at the attacker.

  4. That wasn’t the idea it gave me, in fact I never thought of it that way. Her daughter doesn’t have a daughter who was assaulted like herself and then told by the attacker I hope she dies. That would set any mother off. It’s not really a reflection of the child, it’s just a mother going into Mama Bear mode.

  9. Perhaps she knew she was being recorded and had to set the stage somehow. I heard she lives in the same neighborhood as her family, which gives me the feeling they might know each other, so there may be an outside motive. Therefore unprovoked but not random.

  10. And even otherwise, that story would also have two sides. Maybe this alleged “Ryan” wasn’t particularly innocent either. Maybe he was bullying another kid and the 11 yo stood up to him like Mary stood up to the bully on the bus in 2017’s Gifted. Perhaps she defended “Ryan” anyway because he was her “special dream boy.” Like I’ve suggested elsewhere she could have been there for predatory purposes. We can’t exactly rule it out with a grown a** man or woman with no kids hanging around on a playground full of them.🤷‍♂️
