Sade was the main antagonist and Gaby called her weird AND useless for trying to plan a surprise to make the others happy. I'll bet you anything if the two who'd left had been Sade and Gaby instead of Sherry and Nicki, they would have all gotten along much better. Sade was behind most of the friction going on in that house because she'd deliberately start annoying the other girls in the middle of the night who'd chosen to go to bed earlier than she had by stealing their sheets, and yes, they all had the privilege of picking their own bedtimes, but none of them had the right to infringe on another's right to sleep. She'd start all kinds of dysfunction, and if someone called her on it she'd lock herself in the bathroom and act like the victim. She basically wasn't happy unless she was annoying someone! If anything, I think the rest of them accidentally began taking out their annoyance at her on each other. Even the nice ones can't be perfect, especially with a manipulative bully like Sade around.

  10. There are certain differences with the word useless. If you're talking about a person having been useless in a specific situation, meaning the person knew and did nothing to help, that's a whole other thing. But to just call a person a useless person, like it's just a fact, no different than stating the color of one's eyes, is just utterly cruel, especially if the person had just tried to make everyone happy.

  23. No, those individuals were sincere. They also gathered around her when she was upset, plus they told her Gaby was wrong about her being useless. Youā€™ll notice neither Sade nor Gaby tried to stop her from leaving. Thereā€™s no scenes here with any evidence implicating anyone except Sade or Gaby in being mean to Sherry.

  26. I know and Gaby repays her by calling her useless. Sade just routinely made the others miserable then acted like a victim anytime someone dared to confront her on it, which is why I think those are the only two who really prompted her to leave early.

  38. Mostly Sade. As for the rest of it there were no rules. Thatā€™s the problem with comments being enabled on this, is that they tend to rain on the whole parade of whatā€™s happening. Itā€™s without adults, and yet the purpose is being defeated by letting adults post comments on it.

And besides, I honestly think she wanted to and even planned to join in on the fun and the extra privilege, but like I've commented before, I think hearing Gaby call her useless broke her spirit and made her lose her zest for the whole experience. It may not seem like much, but words are very powerful. I don't think she was trying to be an adult, just to take some responsibility. Remember, girls are faster to mature than boys are. In other words, I think that's just her with or without cameras, and I applaud her.

So, it started off with some kind of ground meat she was cooking in a pan, and it looked like she added spaghetti sauce. It almost puts me in the mood for spaghetti.šŸ˜‹

  49. All she did was act concerned about people spoiling their appetites for dinner, which she was cooking, and then she attempts to please the rest of them with a surprise. That was when Gaby called her useless, but you must be okay with that. You must be okay with bullying. Sherry did nothing wrong, she did nothing to warrant that kind of mistreatment, and I keep saying I think she did want to be a part of the "less rules" thing, until Gaby said what she said.

  50. Now it's different if you call things useless, like what the vacuum cleaner would be if the bag got punctured. (That's among the things my dad would sometimes scold our dog for doing back in the mid 2000's, biting on the vacuum cleaner bag while he was using it.) And if you talk about being useless in a particular situation because you just stood by and did nothing to help when it was clearly needed, also different. That would describe Kevin Franke in my opinion, Ruby's ex-husband of the former 8 Passengers YouTube channel. According to the oldest of their children, there were acts of abuse coming from Ruby while the channel was still up and she and Kevin were still together. Maybe it wasn't until they separated and he moved out that the duct tape stuff between Ruby and Jodi Hildebrandt started, but according to the oldest, who left the channel early, there were things going on that she was around for, so clearly Kevin was around for those things, too. His lawyer tries to say he was "manipulated" and that "he had no reason to believe that his kids were being abused," but I think that's poppycock. There was an incident he teamed her on, and he is apparently still defending her, which tells me he just let the other ominous things happen because he didn't think his kids deserved any better. After he moved out he didn't even bother to check on his kids in any way or ask the police to check. That's just as bad, maybe worse. What I'm getting at is that he was useless in this situation because he did not protect his abused kids. But there was no justification for Gaby to call Sherry a useless person, especially when she cooked the first meal for everyone and then tried to make everyone happy by trying to surprise them. She deserved better, and at least she wasn't a bully like Sade.
