@fletcher373 OMG, you are so right, what was going through my head? I saw so many other comments talking about her looks, saying that she wasn't much of a beauty queen, and I somehow got the idea that it wouldn't matter if I joined in, considering she did a horrible thing anyway. Kind of like with the movie Norbert. The movie made fun of overweight people a bit, but Norbert's wife, the one who had that problem, was a mean and heartless woman anyway, however, she was not a child killer. (Hollywood tends to be shallow anyway.) I lost my sense of judgment for a moment, thinking it wouldn't matter because she was evil, but my response attacked her for the wrong reason, which also wasn't nice to her victim. And just to show you I'm for real, I'm going to delete it, even though it did get one like.

He’s trolling, the girl was just crossing the street, not playing in it, and at the corner, too, but it seems the driver was “playing” behind the wheel, on his/her phone, taking or texting, rather than paying attention to the road, how about asking how dare they give a license to someone like the driver? (I mean on John Brennan’s part, not yours.)

Something I noticed about SSSniperwolf that I didn’t like is that she would shame these children on Toddlers & Tiaras for being spoiled and basically expecting people to sympathize with parents who would pimp their own children out on that horrible abomination of a TV show! These kids aren’t choosing to be spoiled, they’re just modeling that shitty lesson their parents teach them by putting them in beauty pageants, that your looks are more important than their attitude. They’re more exploited and abused than they are spoiled, and while I’m normally an empathetic person and would never actually wish a difficult child on a parent, especially if the child was born psychotic and it’s not from bad parenting, but IMO, if a parent is willing to do something as disgusting to their daughter as put her in a beauty pageant, most likely living vicariously through them while also pimping them out, they deserve whatever grief they get. What I’m getting at is that if anything, she should be shaming these sick parents, not the victims who just model what they learn from this.

@kimberlythompson8631 It probably would have been okay to have some fun with them, but again, I think Sade and Gaby broke her spirit. Or, if you're right about her home life, maybe her parents made her grow up too fast and had her brainwashed into thinking that being a normal kid and having fun with the others would have been morally wrong. You see, what you're referring to as "acting a fool" is really just being a kid. Now Sade lying and gossiping about her upstairs and Gaby calling her useless, those things are not just being a kid, they are being a bully, which is unacceptable any way you slice it. But again, she could have planned on joining, but she wanted to keep the place somewhat clean to prevent cockroaches or bedbugs.

Now it's different if you call things useless, like what the vacuum cleaner would be if the bag got punctured. (That's among the things my dad would sometimes scold our dog for doing back in the mid 2000's, biting on the vacuum cleaner bag while he was using it.) And if you talk about being useless in a particular situation because you just stood by and did nothing to help when it was clearly needed, also different. That would describe Kevin Franke in my opinion, Ruby's ex-husband of the former 8 Passengers YouTube channel. According to the oldest of their children, there were acts of abuse coming from Ruby while the channel was still up and she and Kevin were still together. Maybe it wasn't until they separated and he moved out that the duct tape stuff between Ruby and Jodi Hildebrandt started, but according to the oldest, who left the channel early, there were things going on that she was around for, so clearly Kevin was around for those things, too. His lawyer tries to say he was "manipulated" and that "he had no reason to believe that his kids were being abused," but I think that's poppycock. There was an incident he teamed her on, and he is apparently still defending her, which tells me he just let the other ominous things happen because he didn't think his kids deserved any better. After he moved out he didn't even bother to check on his kids in any way or ask the police to check. That's just as bad, maybe worse.
What I'm getting at is that he was useless in this situation because he did not protect his abused kids.
But there was no justification for Gaby to call Sherry a useless person, especially when she cooked the first meal for everyone and then tried to make everyone happy by trying to surprise them. She deserved better, and at least she wasn't a bully like Sade.

@krispiccone Sade, anyway. And Gaby is the one who called her useless. The other seven were still okay, though. If anything, I suspect that they were parented just fine, and that Sherry may or may not have been parentified, you know, forced to grow up too quickly and deal with adult responsibilities rather just permitted to be a kid. Then again, girls are faster to mature than boys are. Sherry may just have this extra virtue of maturity that you don't actually have to possess in order to be a quality human being, but it adds a kick. I honestly believe she did originally want to have fun with the others, but also wanted to keep the place clean to prevent cockroaches. I think it was when Gaby called her useless after she had cooked for everyone and at the time was trying to plan a surprise for everyone, which by the way, also shows ungratefulness, that that changed, considering that such cruel words would have the power to ruin any zest for this experience that one has, and Sade was the antagonist of the house which is why those are the only two I suspect to be spoiled.

It’s true, Sherry was a sweetheart, and Sade and Gabrielle were ungrateful meanies, undoubtedly her two arch nemeses. As for the other seven, I’m just going to be blunt. They were much more innocent in this than Kevin Franke was or even is now, in the 8 Passengers scandal. You see, not only is he an adult whose mind should be all the way developed, but he’s a father, too! When you have kids, it’s both parents’ responsibilities to make sure they are safe, not just one. In this capacity, Sade and Gaby may be Ruby and Jodi and Sherry is probably closest to being Russell or Eve, but unlike Kevin, the other seven girls are minor children whose minds aren’t all the way developed, so it’s believable that they meant well considered they didn’t just terrorize everyone or call Sherry useless, that was Gaby, and I think it was that that made Sherry decide to avoid the others, as long as she and/or Sade were still there anyway. But if you pay attention you’ll notice that the group of girls begging her not to leave and hugging her before she did didn’t include either one of them. Connecting the dots. They even comforted her when she was upset on two occasions, so even though their words may have been mistakable otherwise, don’t accuse them of pretending to care about her or only using her, they are still young children with minds that had developing yet to do, they didn’t have the same maturity level that Sherry had, but just imagine boys of the same age, if any were that young in the boys one, LOL! But at least they weren’t spiteful like S and G. Now there is a thing called kids being kids and just having fun. I know because I was a kid once. Plus this was five days of freedom. Now just because they used it, that makes them monsters, animals or savages? (We’re all animals actually.) I agree that Sade was a savage monster, and what Gaby said to Sherry was very cruel. The others contradicted her words, and maybe they could have tried harder in making Sherry feel better, but they were still young and had growing yet to do.
Now Kevin on the other hand, should have the maturity of a parent, and the fact that he probably never called after he and Ruby split up to check, and now that he knows what happened he didn’t act the least bit upset, he never asked if they were okay, and he still tried to defend Ruby even after he knew what she and Jodi did to Russell and Eve. Plus he supported Ruby’s action of not only refusing to bring Eve’s lunch to school for her when she forgot it, but telling the teacher who called not to let any of the other kids share with her, to let her go hungry as a lesson. He’s the one, I understand, who said she never forgot it again after that. But mainly I think what makes it the hardest to implicate him is the fact that he moved out months prior to the termination and the arrest. But deep down I believe he still failed his kids, turned on them, did them dirty.

I won't dwell on this, and I know everyone has freedom of speech, but I need to say this anyway. I can't believe the number of comments I ran into making this about kids having phones or not. I didn't even want to read any further at the risk of getting myself more upset. If you drink and drive with your child or children in the car, you're already failing as a parent because that is just dangerous and irresponsible. She even said sed didn't WANT him to go to jail which is clearly because she loved him anyway, but she was scared for her life. Wouldn't you have been, particularly if you were that young? It must've broken her heart to do what she did!
At least I know that penguinz0 would never defend this guy. You'll know from a couple of his videos, maybe more, I don't know, that he would never excuse, defend, nor sympathize with a drunk driver.
That's all I'm going to say.

@SeanOptimoa Okay, listen, I'm sorry for being brusque in my response, and I know there are many other "trash" kids aside from this one, and I get it that there are more news reports like this than there used to be, but as a child, I didn't exactly keep track of current events, and I really should try to picture things from the other person's side if I desire the same. There are two sides to everything, and I'm talking about myself and those generalizing generations. (Man, try saying that 5 times fast.) People just notice what they notice, and you're just being honest about what you've noticed. It's just kind of a shame that the news, in general, doesn't seem to share as many good things as it does bad. Plus, there's separating real life from acting in a movie or on a TV show. (Although some movies are based on true stories.) But the real problem is me, not the generalizations, I just need to stop taking every word another person says so literally, like, to the letter, as they say. (I wonder if the news is required to seek permission from the relevant people to make a headline of their event.) Peace out.

That was Gaby who called her useless, and Sade was the main bully of the house. I feel sorry for Sherry, and I love the kind of human being she is, too, but I don’t think the other seven were that bad. They tried to comfort Sherry both times she was upset, and they could have done more and taken better approaches at convincing her to stay, but I don’t think they were mean to her like Sade and Gaby were. Remember, they were young, too, and didn’t have a fully-developed brain yet, and while that may excuse an honest mistake of accidentally taking the wrong verbal approaches at times, it doesn’t excuse deliberate cruelty, like calling someone useless or mocking someone while at the same saying things about the someone that aren’t even true, like the way Sade was talking about her upstairs while she was making dinner. I guess what I’m getting at is that I don’t believe that the girl who begged her to stay because she was the one who cooked meant to say that that was all she was good for, and unless the girl was Gaby or Sade, I think she knew deep down how awesome Sherry was, actions speak louder than words do, but like I said, with a still-underdeveloped brain, even if or when your intentions are good, there’s still a possibility you might not do as well as you mean. You’ll notice Sade didn’t try to get her to stay, and I don’t know about Gaby, but she’s the one who called her useless.

Right now, where I am, the summer heat is a humid one, I have a lot on my mind, things to remember, concerns, other residents in my community can be annoying, I have an outdoor job working with garbage and recyclables, I ride a van to and from there twice a week, we drop others off on the way up, pick them up on the way back, in the summer heat it’s hotter plus the garbage can smell worse, and I do this for the pay of spending money so I don’t have to scrimp for the rest of my life. If I had to deal with someone like this on top of everything I’m not at all sure how I’d avoid losing my temper.

2:37 That's true, refried beans taste pretty good even though they don't have the most attractive color. In fact, when I was a school kid and the cafeteria was serving, "Mexican Tostadas," I would always bring my lunch those days. While I hadn't right away learned this choice word, in my own youthful words, I could only think, "WTF is that crap spread all over that giant thing, diaper shit?" But I learned over the years that you can't judge a book by the cover. In fact, along with Italian and Chinese, Mexican is another favorite of mine when it comes to ethnic cooking. (Some things take adjusting when they are different than what you are used to.)

I'm not here to watch this video, only to pause it and spill my guts rationally and honestly by posting this comment. Ever since the arrest it's been, "Ruby this and Ruby that," which is very logical because she's the one who has been charged with the hideous crime of child abuse. But the question is, what about Kevin? He was their father just as much as Ruby their mother. We all know in every immediate family it's the responsibility of both parents to make sure their kids are safe, not just one or the other. I hear these claims that he didn't know about it, but I find that hard to believe. Here are some red flags.
1. He seemed to team Ruby when she not only didn't bring Eve's lunch to school for her when she'd forgotten it, but also told the teacher who called her not to let the other kids share with her, so she could learn a lesson by going hungry. He justified the means with the end by saying she never forgot it again after that.
2. Shari, the firstborn, was one of the first, maybe the first Franke kid to speak out about life at home, and she left the channel and moved out ahead of time. In other words, there was maltreatment going on when she was still living with them, and that's easily when Kevin was still living there. He was clearly home often enough to be in all their videos, making it less likely or believable that he didn't know. (His attorney, of course, makes that claim.)
3. When Ruby was arrested, you know Kevin knew then, and he just didn't seem very upset, worried, or concerned for a father who just then found out his children were being abused. All he seemed to care about was self-exoneration, reuniting as a family, as he said, when it's about love, not blood, and on top of all that, he continues to defend Ruby. That just doesn't strike me as a devastated father as most would be if they just found out something like this, be the abuse by the other parent or someone else. And in some cases, that manipulated pawn claim can have validity, but in my book, not when the crime is child abuse, particularly if they're your own children. But I doubt that's the case. According to something else I heard he said, I think he just didn't care. He may or may not have committed one or more acts himself, or maybe his realm was either sexual, verbal, or psychological abuse, but there's a lack of evidence, but that really stops mattering once you prove something else. I think he knew it was happening and did nothing about it, which is just as bad, maybe worse. These six innocent children were all failed by the two people who were supposed to love and protect them. Let's just say what was once 8 Passengers is now 6 Victims.

And the other seven probably didn’t deserve her either, merely because they didn’t have the extra layer of maturity that she did, but most kids that young don’t, so it’s really not their fault. Now Sade was the total opposite, the house bully, and Gaby was the one who called her useless, no one else, but the others told her Gaby was wrong, plus there were many things skipped for the sake of time so we’re left only to guess and speculate many specific details. There’s no evidence anywhere that confirms that anyone except Sade and Gabrielle were actually mean to Sherry and there are all sorts of possible truths that we can’t rule out altogether for what happens during time skips. Unlike many users on this site I am not so quick to assume the worst. But yes, Sade’s terror and Gaby’s cruel words naturally would have been enough to make Sherry want to leave, and while many still supported her, that just didn’t do it. I think it’s only if S and G had left, her two arch nemeses, that there would have been a chance that she would have been prompted to stay.

Okay, I find it very hard to believe that this perfume story isn't just an attempt to fan the flames a little. If you're 68 and you have asthma, why would your doctor even let you keep working at a job like this? I think the whole thing is staged, and it obviously paid off, because the viral video raised over $100,000, which is a perfect solution to a bus driver's retirement problem, knowing the underpayment of the job itself, and probably done perfectly legally.
And one more thing. I'm very OCD, and the name "Maya" is very special to me, and therefore won't accept that anyone by that name was involved. I'm not defending misbehavior, but I pick the names for my own convenience. I think there were a few students saying they hadn't done anything, and they probably hadn't, but at this point the person in charge isn't going to care anymore, and not to mention it's easy to call someone the wrong name in such a situation. And whoever was not involved, they knew they had nothing to worry about. Therefore, my speculation of choice is that whoever "Maya" really was, that she was a non-participant, and that is final!
Please, don't anybody argue with my comment. Don't even attempt to tell me you know for a fact that I'm wrong, because I don't care and I don't want to know. It's not even my job to care or to want to know, it's just my job right now to cope with what I consider an inconvenience in life. If you want to respond with something understanding or supportive, that's fine, but no arguments, judgments, or contradictions, please!
Thank you!

And furthermore, as well as the bus driver, I am also willing to side with any un-involved students, even though, according to the testimony of this report, it's not about them. Hey, when Aubrey Corley's 5-year-old daughter was attacked on the school bus ride home by a 12-year-old bully and her 9-year-old brother, I found a comment on Facebook about it showing a lack of concern for the little victim, making it sound as if to be more about bus drivers and yard teachers. It was apparently posted by the mother of an adult daughter who worked as a yard teacher, starting with, "I admire the bus driver for even wanting this job." And while I was sorry to read what her adult daughter dealt with as a yard teacher, it didn't exactly fit the subject of having a 5-year-old daughter falling victim to a 12-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy. So therefore, I don't see it as any worse, in fact I see it as better since I'm still acknowledging the real victim (maybe), to look out for any students who had nothing to do with the incident, like Maya, for example, whoever she really is, and by the way, another thing I've chosen to speculate about her is that she is highly trained in a Martial Art.
Again, no arguments, please.

I can sympathize, I used to work as a bagger at Fry’s and sometimes I would have cart duty on the parking lot. Sometimes if there didn’t happen to be any carts lined up next to the store certain customers just arriving, instead of just grabbing a cart off the lot on their way up to the store they would walk up and just stand there waiting for the carts to be brought up there, which made me feel more pressured to get them up there for them when I really shouldn’t have had to, customer service can be such a slave driving thing, although I think that’s become less over the years, I changed jobs in 2001 which was over two decades ago, but there was another time it was raining outside and a customer was like, “OMG, (not her exact words) it’s wet!”
I can only think, Well WTF does she expect, it’s raining! (When I left the job, retail was off my list.)

In fact many of those horrible TikTok pranksters are around her age, too, which is unparented and undisciplined behavior in itself, and who knows, maybe she’s a beginner who was going to “violate” a young child in God knows which way for clout and likes, there’s not much of a limit what they’ll do, so basically anyone who has a beef with “the youth of today” and can’t just keep things individual, the attacker was only 19, only beginning adulthood, same age as the average prankster, and there is no excuse for what she did, and maybe you need to watch more videos on this and get more details, like her criminal record, which she was on a kids’ playground in spite of, etc.

I see it all now. There weren't any rules, and that's why their parents didn't reprimand them. But many users had a point, commending them was still going much too far. It may have been more appropriate to say, "Well, you do know that it was okay this one time, because there weren't any rules, we knew there weren't, and we agreed to let you do this, right? But starting after this, it's back to reality and responsibility, just to let you know." At least that wouldn't have been over all encouraging such destructiveness. I get it now, that's everyone's real problem with the parents' reaction.
Still, those saying what they would have done to punish them, be them on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, or wherever, what you really mean is that you never would have agreed to this in the first place, because the fact still remains that there were no rules.

You’re right, calling him an animal is an insult to animals, mostly cats and dogs in my opinion, I think they make the two best pets. But truthfully, we’re all animals, including humans. But other species are better parents than many humans. And you’re right, this guy isn’t even human, he’s a monster, like you said. A demon, a devil, a spawn of Satan!😡

Why do they even have to tell us this? The important thing is that these specific families still eventually end up okay. But this is a reality show I actually like, unlike Supernanny or Wife Swap because it doesn't air a bunch of fighting, harsh words, and dirty laundry. Can't they just let fans of this show keep enjoying it and not ruin it for them? I don't mean to sound selfish or insensitive, in fact, like I said, I hope these families still ended up okay in the end, bottom line. I keep everyone in prayer who needs it, including what I don't know about. But why is it so important for the entire world, many of which can't do anything about it, anyway, to know about the untold off-camera stuff? I mean, it's not always that important to know the accurate truth about everything, because not every truth is everybody's business anyway.
Now if I was among the people who could help these families, then by all means, I'd want to know right away.

Well, rephrasing my response a little, I think it was only Sade and Gaby who didn’t appreciate her, that there’s footage proof of anyway, the other seven comforted her when she was upset and cried and didn’t even want her to leave, but the group didn’t include Sade nor Gaby, who were both in fact lying about the way she sounded upstairs probably just to make her an outsider. Sade was the main terror and Gaby was the one who called her useless after she cooked dinner and tried to plan a surprise for everyone. That’s only two people out of seven, but with one being a relentless manipulative bully and the cruel words of the other that was still enough to make her want to exclude herself from the “fun” and eventually leave early, even though the rest of them said with their own mouths that they appreciated what she did and even that she was not useless despite what Gaby had said. However it logically appeared that that in itself wasn’t going to make her change her mind about distancing herself and skipping the permitted anarchy, considering she’d seen what Sade was like, that was impossible to miss, and words can hurt more than a fist, particularly the ones Gaby had said to her. I think after that the only thing that would have prompted her into possibly changing her mind about joining was if Sade and Gaby had left. Therefore I think saying “especially them” was a mistake on my part because I believe it was ONLY them. I only really saw them as misbehaved and awful, Sade would bully just about everyone then play the victim whenever someone confronted her, and what Gaby said to Sherry was very cruel. As for the other seven, they were just being kids because that’s what they were. I hardly see that as misbehaved nor awful. Enough said.

Just as I thought, it says all the money has been donated to her, which solves her retirement problem. She knew at her age she'd have to retire soon, but the lack of pay this job offers made it difficult, so they stage a video for money, most likely legally, and it worked! I'm not sure about the social security thing, but there is probably some explanation.
Again, this is my hunch, I have a right to it, please don't argue with it.
