To quote a game of mine: "Once something is alive, it doesn't die easy" More than that, a quick reaction would be much less harmful than brewing the ground for a new dictartorship. You may think that january 6 was a mistake but that kind of action is the social pressure we need to change things WITHOUT bloodshed. I would take a january 6 every day of the month over a French Revolution always. Truth is your view of the world almost seems sanitized compared to how monstrous humans can be. It really does not take that much for normal people to start cheering for burning witches. We are seeing it all over the internet over the situation in Israel. So beware: that idea of yours of not taking action, not channeling that energy and, frankly, hate and frustration towards something productive, may be the silver bullet that ends civilization. Armies understand that, dictators too.
