Lukas L. L. They are effectively denying the Obama study that showed that gun control actually contributed to violence in general, for instance. So no, its not only about not knowing how to operate a firearm. Just do a quick search about gun control states and compare their murder rate. You gonna find that some states have a murder rate similar to my state in Brazil (São Paulo). Gun control only promotes violence.

Bambim because restricting the means to defend yourself only promotes violence. Just look at the murder rate of locations with some form of gun control law compared to those with none to see what i am talking about (tends to be about 4~5 times higher) And by the way, it is a constitutional right and only makes you more safe, so why not keep it.

Not only tyranny, but its a pretty good way to promote violent crimes. Like at least 300% increase in murder rates over time, and i am not making that up.

Varelity well, mass shootings are not that common, even in the US (keep in mind that they have have a little more than 13 times your population), and, it may sound indifferent but it is the truth, these events are not that relevant compared to your everyday violence, and when politicians try to impose gun control, it usually gets worse (more crimes and more agression in those crimes). Fear-mongering would make you believe that sacrifing five thousand possible victims to prevent a mass shooting per year with gun control is the sensible thing to do. I won’t buy that. Mass shootings are the symptom of a social sickness, one which gun control can easily make it take a turn for the worse.

samual bhuiyan stop fear-mongering, that attitude of yours is way more dangerous than the guns you are talking about.

Varelity people get so worked up to stop mass shootings that they ignore the murder rates skyrocketing when gun control takes place.

@eventusvantos2770 are you saying that based on what? And I really think that this discussion is pointless since usually mass-shooters (or criminals in general) don't go to the store to buy a firearm. And they very rarely use a ar-15 in those attacks, making banning this kind of weapon even more pointless, now that I think about it.
