  1. Yeah but the thing is that the A-10 is still used for these missions because it's cheaper, it is just not cheap enough. Personally, I see the Valor as the aircraft that will eventually replace it. It should be cheaper and much more flexible.

  3. I think that what will replace the A-10 will be the V-280 valor. Although being no light attack aircraft, the vtol capability, superior loitering time and eventual widespread use should certainly give it an edge in cost and flexibility.
