  1. This is bs and you know it. Most of these designs have multiple independant, more reliable (a single moving part!) and precise motors if not fixed wings as well. That obsession with auto-rotation is beyond ridiculous.

  2. Noise can be minimized and automation should work well... but no, it won't be profitable. It won't be because these things will be luxury personal helicopters for the ultrarich that will be the only ones that can use them on demand. If you don't have a heliport, chances are you aren't going to use this.
