  1. The a-10 is good plane but... it is not perfect. 2 engines means more maintenance, its cannon is not just powerful but expensive and turbofan engines aren't great for going slow. Yeah it brings a lot of firepower but its full potential is rarely used and routine use take its toll on the aircraft. In short, it is a flying tank when you really could use a flying humvee. Though to be fair, even the Humvee was abused.
