  2. 5x the energy and only 16% more range? Don't get me wrong, I actually prefer prioritizing lower cost over high capacity but there is a limit of how good you can make lithium batteries be and we are already close. Plus there is substantial money being invested into making solid state batteries viable for production, even though surely it won't put tesla into any trouble. Right now low cost, quick charge and infrastructure are the features to focus on.
