  2. Range extender is a good compromise for those who don't want to have a ICE car just for roadtrips. There is also the problem with ground clearance, those batteries have to go somewhere. Also, these futuristic designs are ugly. I get it, EVs but... not every truck needs to be a cybertruck.

  3. They could just upgrade the battery eventually and turn it in a full time ev for all practical purposes.
