You got a generation of children that spend their childhood on smartphones to avoid going mad because parents can't be bothered to properly raise them, eviscerating any hope of social skill development. All while under constant, ever increasing, mental assault on social media. The fact that they can still form sentences is a small miracle in itself.

@douglasmurdoch7247 considering that both Stalin and Fidel Castro persecuted homossexuals at one point and those two are as far left as one can be, I wouldn't discard the Nazis as leftists. To me Nazism is just a mix of Durkheim and Marx, same goes for Fascism. That's why both the nazis and fascists weren't internationalists, they both had an idea of national identity that the classic communists mostly disregarded in favor of a unifying ideology. The fascists go even another step further with their "Carta del Lavoro" and its legislation over labor syndicates. Definitely leftists, even if it is more a parallel development rather than a direct evolution of the communist ideals. But of course, anyone is free to disagree.
