EVERYTHING on it is made to make you addicted (from the UI to the apps themselves, mobile games for example are directly inspired by cassinos), even porn is a consequence of that, same could be said of sugar, sadly this goes for modern online video games as well, such as gta online. And it adds up quick. I just leave my phone in the other room before I go to sleep or for the day when I can and it works. Use a old videogame or kindle if you have to, just make sure you have something to distract you from it.
