What he should have said was that this shooting was combination of errors and incompetency from police training which treats everyone as a suspect to the 911 dispatcher not relaying that the 911 caller said that the gun could be fake and that person was likely a juvenile to the driver pulling up next to the kid like he was in an 80s action flick to the shooter who shot the kid dead within 2 seconds not giving the kid a chance to comply any more than they gave John Crawford a chance to comply.
