This is why the gun debate is bullshit. While most talk about regulating not banning them, rightwing media fuels their followers with talks of 100% ban so that they focus on that and nothing else. THIS is where the attention needs to be. Assault Weapons were banned before, it's not the end of world. Evil banks though could well be the end of the world as we know it.
