@jasonsaenz8959 and not everyone did but when you have a long long history of such attacks being very real and people either defending the attacks or dismissing them as irrelevant it's understandable that people would get their dander up especially when the police initially supported Smollet because they didn't have all the evidence. Smollet doesn't change the fact that we have an atmosphere where the president no less has encouraged the beating of protestors while odious individuals like Richard Spenser supports him and his ilk chant nazi slogans of blood and soil. Not all Trump supporters are violent nazi-loving racists but quite a lot of violent nazi-loving racists support him.

@jasonsaenz8959 investigate before coming to a final conclusion? You mean like Benghazi just name one of many many many many examples where the right jumped to conclusions.
