The clueless still think the riots in Ferguson and Baltimore were just over the deaths of two individuals and not the longterm systematic oppression of the population through excessive fines and arrests over minor incidences that would get waived in other neighborhoods.
There's a lot of money ironically in the poor. You fleece them thru fines which puts them in debt with organizations that provide loans to pay the fines. Those debts can then be sold to other organizations. If the person doesn't pay them, they go to jail government or private which gets money from the government for every prisoner they keep plus all the overhead costs of food, clothing, electricity, etc... needed to run the facilities which is of course easy to skim off the top. Meanwhile there's bail bondsmen, correctional officers, parole officers, attorney's both defense and prosecution, police, judges, wardens, court officials, etc... who make a living on the existence of crime both real crime and the crime created by this system which makes criminals out of poor people because they can't pay their fines and debts. It's a sick system.
