  1. The article talks about the weaponization of sexual assault by Hamas but what this article represents is another type of weaponization - using such stories to dehumanize other people. The more lurid the stories the more Israelis felt justified in what they were doing in Gaza or felt the government wasn't doing enough to avenge the "atrocities" of Oct 7th. Pushing such propaganda should be a war crime in itself.
