  1. Good stuff! I often bring up Shay and Whiskey Tax Rebellions to 2Aers and they rarely have a response mainly because they know little to nothing about them. Another thing they fail to understand was concern of tyranny was the federal government vs state governments not individual citizens. The States wanted to maintain their respective control of their territory with little federal interference in other words it didn't matter if they were a local tyranny so long as the federal government stayed away. And that's where the 2A comes in - to give States the right to raise and maintain their own militias but these States didn't want unauthorized persons forming their own personal militias.
