The more you delve into modern history of Israel and its present situation the less you can support Israel or even try to be neutral. From the beginning of this colonizer project people were forced off their land even before the British were involved. Later zionist militias were bombing and assassinating. They assassinated the British minister of state of the Middle East in 1944 and UN mediator Count Bernadotte in 48 and one of the men who approved these assassinations became a prime minister of Israel - Shamir! Those terrorist militias became the foundation of the IDF. In more recent times, we have seen Israelis venerate the grave of Baruch Goldstein who murdered over 20 Palestinians at pray in Hebron and Minister of National Security Ben Gvir has a picture of him. Previous bombings of Palestinians brought out Israelis in deck chairs to cheer like they were at a fireworks show. Likkud politicians are constantly making genocidal statements. Recent polls show the majority of Israelis think the government isn't doing enough in Gaza. Israel society is like Dennis Hopper's character in Apocalypse Now describing Marlon Brando's character - their mind is clear but their soul is mad.

@kellikelli4413 every country has blood on their hands but there have always been internal critics and dissenters but Israel as a whole seems to have become a nationalistic cult.
