  2. main stream media companies are still stuck in pre-Amber Heard Metoo mentality and are afraid of being labeled misogynistic for not supporting women so they will often turn a blind eye to such blatant bad behavior. However, like Amber Heard when someone goes too far and the receipts cannot be ignored then an example might be made for the company to show they are being fair and principled (because they have no choice at a certain point without suffering public outcry). Youtube may be slow in making this example since she makes them a lot of money so they'll try to milk her content to the bitter end before they shut her down. I imagine though they'll slap her on the wrist with a suspension or even a banning but let her return with an apology video.

  5. At the end of the day, the forced inclusivity doesn't come from a place of good intention but as a calculated marketing ploy design to deliberately provoke controversy thus gaining attention. In some cases like the Ghostbusters 2016 reboot fiasco I think it's kind of like a Mel Brooks' "The Producers" like scam of investors in order to blame the failure on misogyny rather than a humorless script.

  9. The whole Sakanoue thing is an embarrassing bit of literalism. Some foreigner said to be samurai they need to have a bit of black blood - black was taken as literal. However, literalism aside, no such quote exists in Japanese. The Ainu are descendants of Jomon and Northeast Siberian. People who cite out of Africa as proof everyone was black don't understand the gulf of time that separates the leaving of Africa and the populating of the Japanese isles which was tens of thousands of years.
