  1. If you are going have a story with these mysteries for fuck sake have a plan to answer them sensibly before you start. Imagine if Arthur Conan Doyle wrote Sherlock Holmes like these shows today like Westworld, LOST, Battlestar Galactica, and GOT? You'd have all these impossible mysteries at the beginning with most of it never solved or addressed as the story throws out even more mysteries. The focus of characters would be on Holmes and Watson's unrequited love for each other with violins weeping in the background until the culprit reveals their improbable convoluted plan that has been in motion since Holmes' conception or the beginning of the world (whichever) then they get shot by Mrs. Hudson who is secretly Queen Victoria and a member of all female league of top assassins. In other words, it'd be crap.
