As I stated Jews lived in Muslim lands for over a thousand years and were not limited in their professions as in Europe which was primarily money-lending. @charlieparker5950 they did not rule it for a thousand years nor were they truly "Jewish" until the Hasmonean Period. During the Judah Kingdom period they paid tribute to the Assyrians and after the fall of Babylon they were subjects of the Persians. Autonomous rule was fragmented and brief.
