Ironically (but not unsurprising) they become more part of group think mentality who go around enforcing rules of behavior even calling people within the collective NPCs because they aren't anti-NPC enough.

It comes off as high-n-mighty and cultural imperialism to basically tell 1.5 billion people that their core belief is the motherlode of bad ideas while our country bombs, occupies, and exploits a number of Islamic countries yet is also supporting the most repressive of Islamic regimes. When criticizing christians we are essentially criticizing ourselves ie members of our own socio-political culture and we are in more danger of losing rights if certain fundamental christians get their way. If muslims were pushing the political legal system to enforce sharia law on everyone in the US, I'd be equally critical of them and their individual actions. As it is blanket criticism of Islam is pointless and will have little affect except to preach to the choir - a choir primarily of westerners who many have little knowledge of the individual countries under this broad umbrella of Islamic nations.  Rather it would be more productive to criticize the individual governments of those countries in support of those who are protesting for their rights and urge them to pass laws for equality. And this is where Maher and Harris are so ignorant. There are liberals involved in NGOs and individual organizations aiding such causes. Just because they aren't screaming about it or the media isn't focusing on them, doesn't mean it's not happening. Harris&Maher actually represent the more useless aspect of liberalism - criticizing for the sake of criticism and doing fuck all at the end of the day except writing a book or two.

It's not just carelessness, they are going out of their way to do the exact opposite of medical advice from not wearing masks, going to large gatherings, having covid parties, etc... They are deliberately putting themselves at risk along with others.

Christianity is founded on the concept of forgiveness but as we have seen in the US it's a very selective forgiveness which is usually bestowed upon those conservative christians see as on their team such as this guy. Had he been an atheist and/or liberal somehow I think forgiveness would have been withheld and pitchforks put forward instead - though with this creep I'd not complain.

  32. Monsanto should be protested just for being Monsanto but as for GMOs in general people do have cause for concern - margarine, saccharine, nutra-sweet, corn-syrup, tons of additives. These were things that we were told were not harmful and in fact healthier than their natural counterpart. So there is precedent of chemically changing foods or creating artificials and additives being harmful or at least potentially harmful.
