Two interests are behind this - the anti-government people who want to use this story to fit that narrative and those who want a precedent to use public land for private interests.

Unless you have evidence otherwise, you can't keep throwing it around like it's a fact. I don't give a shit about Weaver and Waco which were more than 20 years ago with different people involved. Here we have a guy who lied about his family's history which only goes back to 1948 and ranching only to 1954. He hasn't paid his fees for 20 years and therefore his cattle were trespassing. He's a freeloader and a moocher making profit off of other people's property but leave it to rightwing nuts to make him a hero.

  7. what cows were killed? I heard that but have not seen any proof. There are too many lies surrounding this case. Those people were impending a legal right to remove trespassing cattle from land that did not belong to Bundy.

  10. 888strummer the feds did not go to Bundy's ranch. This is a lie you lot need to stop spreading. The feds went to the land owned owned by the federal government to pick up the trespassing cattle. It was the bundys and their supporters that went there to protest and impend the removal of the cattle so comparing Bundy to Waco or Ruby Ridge falls very short in comparison. Had Bundy stayed on his land nothing would have happened.
