Meanwhile those same people cut food stamps and advocate for stricter punishments while screaming they need more guns to defend themselves and their property.

Well I won't take away your right to defend yourself with the use of unwarranted commas; however because you live in this paranoid state of mind that you need to defend yourself against government tyranny I suspect a mental screening would deprive you of the right to own so much as a can opener.
