  1. Gun advocates seem to believe criminals get guns from out of nowhere like there is this Evil Gun Fairy who brings to criminals. The DoJ estimates 200K guns are stolen annually. A number of those thefts are from home burglaries. In an "unrelated" stat, the FBI listed 3 Texas cities in their Top 10 cities for burglaries (Houston #1) and given the high rate of gun-ownership in Texas, one can assume a significant amount of "criminal" guns out there come from Texas gun owners.
