  1. Your typical conservative has no idea what liberalism actually is anymore than they do communism, socialism, Islam, the metric system, etc... When rightwing muppets like our hatriot here talk about liberals, it is the boogeyman strawman liberal that they have made up in their own heads fueled by rightwing rhetoric. They have this bizarre child-like 2 dimensional view of liberals being this nebulous nefarious collective of people who want to destroy America like some cartoon villain because they're evil. They really are this simple-minded. Growing up in a red state from the Clinton era onward I have seen this change. With the rise of rightwing radio in the 90s the intelligent cognitive abilities of the rightwing has been drastically handicapped. We need to realize this and stop treating their ridiculous simplistic assertions as valid and worthy of discussion. Doing so up to now has resulted in loonies like Bachman, Ernst, Gohmert, Cruz, etc... getting elected to our eternal shame.

I have seen enough of your arguments to see this trend again and again.  Conservatives are generally uncomfortable with different opinions and so they attempt to fight them or co-opt them.

  6. it's part of the conservative agenda to silence or co-opt contrary opinions. Liberals are gullible fools who don't to be seen as extremists so they allow manipulated public discourse to inch them closer and closer to the right hence the reason why the middle is more right than center
