No, the problem is with people like you and the NRA who are stooges of the gun manufacturers in that everytime you hear any whiff of gun regulation you blow it out of proportion and imagine it to be an absolute ban despite no one calling for anything of the sort.

  2. And no one is saying take guns away from everyone! This paranoid fear has got to stop so that sensible actions and discussions can be made without kneejerk 2nd Amendment quotes. Assault weapons had been banned before with less fanfare but that was before the NRA and gun supporters became such thin-skinned sky-is-falling Chicken Littles.
