Comments by "Ronin Dave" (@RoninDave) on "Tulsi Gabbard Blocked Ana Kasparian from Interviewing Her" video.
I thought it was going to be the Beto supporters who were going to be that attack dogs in the primaries but now I'm seeing that Gabbard is the one attracting the zealots, the shit-stirrers, and correct the record bots. I thought Ana's video was nuanced and the kind of thing I expect from progressives - to be hard on progressive candidates as opposed to being soft like the corporate media is with rightwing and corporate democrat politicians. The reaction she got surprised me and Gabbard or her team insisting she not be present in the interview is troubling to say the least. It was not a good move on their part IMHO. The ugliness of the 2016 primaries is threatening to raise its head again. If Gabbard gets close to the nomination will other candidate supporters (ie mainly Bernie) be commanded to support Gabbard or else?

and another no content channel rushes to Gabbard's defense. Is David Brock working on her campaign?

@Joel-it1zp whatever, Joe. You're about as genuine as a wooden 3 dollar bill handed out on the 37th of Septober.

@cathjj840 no they don't. I've taught english in other countries and they don't talk/write like a bloody press blurb with fawning praise like a marketing agent having an orgasm over their product. But why am I bothering explaining this to a sock?

Is this Hillary 2.0? Gabbard could have used this opportunity to address any inaccuracies about her record and clear up any misunderstandings but this action by her or on behalf of her team was a bad decision on their part and shows weakness or a fear of weakness being shown in her progressive stance.

@Person01234 Actually requesting that Ana not be part of the interview was a sign of weakness when instead she could have as you say easily debunked any of those assertions. There's always going to distortions and inaccurate facts floating about and a real leader faces them and deals with them.
3
@MK-oz2lf he couldn't look into the camera? Do you not see how ridiculous you sound?

@Joel-it1zp not when the channels are just a small collection of individuals and not masses of potential voters. And she won't win in the end. She is being used to spilt the progressives while an establishment candidate be it Beto or Booker (Harris is unlikely at this point) is primed to take the nomination so that we can have an Obama 2.0 in the office.

@Joel-it1zp who are you - her press agent? You sure write like one. This reads like a bloody press junket: "She is just an incredibley strong and independent indivual who was willing to put her life on the line by deploying to Iraq in spite of her exempt status, and who in 2016 put her whole political future at risk to stay true to her convinctions and support Bernie." What person writes like this, really? Lot of effort from a no content channel. FYI it's this kind of shit that got Hillary un-elected because she sounded similar ringing hokey and not genuine. If you really want to help Tulsi then stop writing and talking like a political bot spewing press releases. If anything you have proved what I've been saying about the no content being little more than disingenuous players pretending to be the regular joe/jill out there when they are clearly not.

more like the Hillary correct the record shill cult. Is Brock working on her campaign?
2
@dominikfabianowski2182 so you actually didn't watch Ana's video then?

@puffy_vegas7610 You see, your type of criticism of Bernie is different than the criticism of the cult of personality. It's not about defending the Dear Leader from any blemish but pointing out the inaccurate criticism. Funding support for the troops in a war already going on is not the same as voting to go to war in the first place. In contrast the criticism of Trump, Hillary, Beto, Gabbard by progressives are on actual policy issues which their fans know they have no excuse for hence why there develops a cult because a cult doesn't need facts only belief.

I think it's pretty much summed up in the comments - the View is superficial and centrist which won't hurt Gabbard's position with progressives while outlets like TYT are going to be more in-depth, on policy, and from a progressive stance.

@somejuan63 a more progressive candidate with a longer track record of consistency who didn't need a report to tell them that "torture is bad"
