  2. Trump was on a reality show. He knows most people especially the media is easily distracted with juicy stories while they ignore more important issues. Bannon is a hack journalist with a career of riling people on both sides. A "muslim ban" is the jangling of keys in front of us to distract us. I think they want to get the media and various groups scrambling about reporting and protesting various aspects of Trump's administration while Trump and/or his cronies loot the country blind.
