  1. The DNC is feckless and corrupt but that's nothing unusual with political parties anywhere. Their biggest problem is ignoring their base who for the most part just want to sensible reform. The GOP on the other hand has morphed and devolved into a party of corrupt bullies held hostage by their insane ignorant base of conspiracy theorists who think nothing of seizing the country and installing a fascist theocratic government with more than a hint of white supremacy. Independents who are swayed to vote for the latter either not very bright or weren't very independent-minded to begin with.
