Comments by "Ronin Dave" (@RoninDave) on "Caller: Tulsi is the Best and Is About to Explode" video.
The trouble with Tulsi is although she has taken great stances now her number of 180 degree turns in recent times can make one wonder about the strength of her convictions or her political savvy-ness of reading how the wind is blowing. Even championing Assange seems an opportunistic niche she has carved to set her apart from the other candidates for the sake of virtue signaling. Yes, it's an important issue but where does that issue fall in terms of priority? The whole Assange thing smells of political distraction designed to split opinions and distract from the bigger issues of Americans dying due to a lack of healthcare, poor infrastructure, an opioid crisis, lack of income, and climate change.

@rainerzufall42 likely lying? so in other words you are assuming?
2
@rainerzufall42 so again, assumption?
2
@swatejtripathi3083 that's because it's not the general. It's in their best interest to cause as many rifts in the Democrats as they can and they know Bernie is popular with many voters but not with the establishment DNC. when it comes down to the general then they and especially Trump will pounce on any weakness.

@swatejtripathi3083 shut up already? Child, the opposition is going to hammer her on that so you better prepare yourself. It was a tactical mistake and the "good folks" at Fox are likely to bring it up more than a few times
1
@rainerzufall42 and you don't think the opposition particularly GOP isn't going to hammer in on this in their overall attack?
1
@rainerzufall42 will be? There you go assuming again.

@rainerzufall42 Hurt her? How? Look, it's not Ana's fault that Gabbard has a questionable past for progressives to be skeptical about. Is she truly progressive or opportunistic telling people what they want to hear in order to make her stand apart from the other candidates? She watched a relatively obscure senator go from a few dozen at his rallies to tens of thousands in less than a year preaching a progressive message and she chose to support him when he was the height of his popularity in 2016 thus getting progressives to notice her more. If she is genuine she should welcome people questioning her about her past, a past sometimes at odds with her progressive present. Another thing, if you want to assume all over the place why can't you assume that perhaps it was a miscommunication a misunderstanding between both sides? I mean why would either side lie about this? What is there to gain? If anything Tulsi could make a lot of goodwill declaring it a misunderstanding and do a sit down with Ana confronting those questions head-on like Bernie did with those Fox shills.
1
@swatejtripathi3083 what is with you guys and assuming other people's feelings and intentions? "she would welcome" - how do you know that? Ana should just be like another hostile Fox reporter if that were the case and easily handled rather than avoided.

@swatejtripathi3083 the establisment is the one out of step with the population. Buttigeig has hitched his wagon to the out of touch corporate democrats so naturally he gets more coverage on mainstream media but the more and more the voting public doesn't trust that media. Tulsi whatever her intentions knows that the public who are not completely one side or the other are more inclined to listen to populist policies and vote accordingly.
1
This. Tulsi is taking great stances now but given her 180 degree changes in a relatively short amount of time it should make one pause to think does she honestly feel this way or is it opportunism to gain attention? She supported Bernie at a time when it would gain her more attention and it's worked. Had she not she would be a lesser known candidate.

This is what Bernie stated on Fox that he wants debates based on policies not personalities like the media wants

Hillary is no reason not to vote for a woman. Hillary is a reason to be wary of corporate democrats regardless of their identity.
