I've been saying this for quite some time. I thought those who listen to Rush Limbaugh back in the 90s were somewhat reality-challenged but after 20+ years of rabid vitriolic rightwing rhetoric the minds of many rightwingers have been poisoned to the point they'll accept any theory no matter how insane so long as it's anti-liberal in some way. They have been conditioned like a Pavlov's Dog to foam at the mouth at anything liberal. This isn't about a difference of opinion. This is about a portion of the population which is dangerously programmed to ignore undeniable facts. This is how Trump was able to win and how Bannon is able to manipulate him and his core supporters.
