  1. Couple of factors at work here. Initially GOPpers were towing the anti-vax line as red meat to their base whom they know are anti-science primarily because liberals endorse science. Several people have pointed this out before but it bears repeating that a lot of the hardcore rightwingers have no real principles or policies except to be anti-liberal. But the GOP realizes they are the minority and although they will suppress the vote, cheat, and steal election they need enough actual GOP voters to make it look somewhat legit. And the DNC needs the GOP as a distraction from progressive policies so the word is out amongst the elite to get the vaccine in order that the sham of our current political state can continue.
