@greenesthue1545 false equivalency and strawman arguments. The idea of both sides do it has long been expired as the Right has moved into realms of sheer fantasy of pizzagates, hoax shootings, and demons supporting Hillary.

it's their angsty way of identifying themselves by what they are not (but actually they are) much like a teenager who rebels against conformity by conforming to non-conformity standards. Ironically (but not unsurprising) they become more part of group think mentality who go around enforcing rules of behavior even calling people within the collective NPCs because they aren't anti-NPC enough.

It's just another example of right-wing projection. They robotically post/shout MAGA and a bunch of parrotted slogans and retread right-wing rhetoric then act like everyone else is a robot.

Someone pointed out another aspect of NPC that is rather disturbing in its accuracy with rightwing violence. In a number of online games and games like GTA, NPCs are characters you can mow down easily often with little reprimand from the game. This is a way for these alt-righters to dehumanize their opposition and not think anything of hurting or even killing the opposition if they knew they could get away with it.
