The Founding Fathers are almost like these anthropomorphic deities in these people's minds who have a vague impression of their reality. You find a number of them sometimes have views of the founding fathers which is absolutely contradictory to the real ones. I had a Tea Partier tell me we need to go back to the rule of the majority just as the Founding Fathers wanted - which was the exact opposite actually
