  1. ​ @petemclovins9166 Bramble451 I'm also a Canadian. After having a heart-attack and a stent installed, I am very satisfied with Canadian healthcare system. It definitely needs some tweaks, but overall no complaints here. My one week hospital stay cost me nothing out-of-pocket and the food and care was great. I told a similar procedure stateside would have cost me at least $15,000.

  2.  @Tuxedo2680  They didn't crack me open, just put in a stent thru my groin. (Yikes!) They also took care of a liver stone, and I lived to tell the tale. Regardless, I was counting my lucky stars that I am a Canadian (with our single payer healthcare system) being treated in one of Canada's finest hospitals. Kudos to Vancouver General Hospital and all their incredible staff.
